Aperture is pleased to offer this very special limited-edition photograph from one of Michael Wolf’s previous series, 100 x 100, which he recently published in book form as Michael Wolf: Hong Kong Inside Outside (2009). For more than fourteen years, the artist has been living and working in Hong Kong. Focusing his camera on specific views and elements, Wolf has explored high-density living in one of the most crowded cities on the globe. The 100 x 100 series, and specifically Nine Rooms, explores the “inside” of those who dwell within that density.
