Khumbula is a collective of young vintage-clothing enthusiasts in Johannesburg who, like many of their South African contemporaries, are using style and photography to engage in vital dialogue about African modernity and youth culture. Across social media platforms and through their blog, the collective uses vintage fashion to tell an African story from an African perspective.
